Ginger breads

Hello there 🙂

As I said before I am giving you the recipe for ginger bread which you can also use to create ginger bread house. All is really easy but it needs some time- when you wait to bake each tray of cookies. But I can assure you- it’s worth it.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup of running honey
  • 75 g unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 260 g plain flour (you may need some more)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 20 g gingerbread’s spices (you can use all spice and add some cinammon, ground ginger, nutmeg)

How to make it:

Put butter, honey and sugar into saucepan and warm until melt. Set aside for a while (until it gets more thick).

The rest of ingredients put into mixing bowl.

Combine all together and mix until they form a nice dough.

If dough is too sticky add some more flour. Divide the dough into smaller parts and roll them one by one. Cut any shape you like and bake for 15 minutes in 180 degree.

Baked ginger breads set aside and wait untill they cool down. If you are fancy to decorate them mix together egg white and icing sugar to create a thick paste. Use piping bag 🙂

Aaaa one more thing- ginger breads are bit hard so they need to wait a few days until they get soft. The best way is to keep them in a container with an apple.
